Kashmiris living around the world, including in Pakistan, observed Kashmir Martyrs’ Day

Kashmiris across the world and on both sides of the Line of Control observed Kashmir Martyrs’ Day today, paying tribute to the 22 individuals who were killed during the Dogra government’s firing on peaceful protesters in Srinagar on July 13, 1931.

In the illegally Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a large-scale shutter-down strike was held on the call of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. This resistance protest has the support of all freedom-loving leaders and organizations.

On the call of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, thousands of Kashmiris gathered at the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Naqshband Sahib in Srinagar to offer prayers and recitations, and to refresh the memory of the martyrs.

On this occasion, the Government of Pakistan has reiterated its steadfast political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, reaffirming its commitment to their cause.
