He said the World Bank report 2006 -2016 analyse the cost of environmental degradation to Pakistan is increased by 3% from 6% of GDP in 2006 to 9% of our GDP.

50 % of this increase is because of air pollution, 30% by water pollution and 20% is because of land degradation. He said that Pakistan is among the top 10 countries vulnerable to climate change over the past decade and we are paying high economic cost for that due to its geography and topography. And we are working on the issue very seriously to mitigate the effects of climate change and a progressive move toward the green economic growth.
