Khuhro hints at fill prison movement against PTI govt

LARKANA: PPP Sindh President Nisar Khuhro said Friday that all the PPP workers and leaders were ready to go to jail if a fill prison movement was started against the PTI government.

While addressing a sit-in and a protest demonstration at Jinnah Bagh against gas load-shedding, Khuhro said that Arbab Ghulam Rahim, the representative of the Prime Minister, had also expressed distrust in the Prime Minister by admitting his support for Governor Rule.

He said the MQM-Pakistan’s dream of separate province would bury with their life but Sindh would not be divided at all. The people of East Punjab do not call themselves immigrants but call themselves from Punjab, Khuhro said adding but those who came to Sindh from UP and CP still call themselves Muhajirs (immigrants) not of Sindh.

Khuhro said that even if GDA, PTI and MQM united, PPP would defeat all those parties by contesting. He further said that gas comes out of Sindh but gas is not being supplied to Sindh province which produces gas. He said that the cause of all the crises in the country was Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said that the PTI government was constantly violating the constitution adding they wanted to impose unconstitutional decisions on the federation and the provinces so the Prime Minister should read the constitution and then consider Sindh as a province of Pakistan as per the constitution.

He said that the PPP’s Sindh government was pinching the federal government of PTI. ‘If Imran Khan can not run the country, then just like Sindh made Pakistan, the people of Sindh are also capable of running the country, the PPP provincial leader said. Khuhro said that this government is a traitor government of the people adding an Egyptian man has been made governor of the State Bank adding the ‘PTI government is enslaving institutions, including the SBP, to the IMF’.

Nisar said that the government has increased the debt of the country to $40 billion in one year. The government borrowed billions of dollars from the World Bank, Asian Bank and the IMF and then he questioned is that money for the Bani Gala?

Khuhro said that if OGRA recommends an increase in petrol prices, then prices would increase rapidly but, he added, if OGRA recommended reduction of petrol prices by Rs12, then petrol prices were reduced by Rs4 only. He said that the PPP had formed a government in Sindh three times and now they would form the federal government and make Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the Prime Minister for three times. MNA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Aijaz Laghari, Shakeel Memon and a large number of male and female workers also participated in the protest.
