Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced new Karachi Interbank Offered Rates (KIBOR), indicating stability in short-term lending rates. The rates, effective as of March 2, 2026, show slight variations across different tenors, with the one-week to one-month rates remaining consistent at 10.29 percent for bids and 10.79 percent for offers.
According to State Bank of Pakistan, the three-month tenor bid and offer rates are set at 10.37 percent and 10.62 percent, respectively. The six-month rates show a marginal increase, with bid and offer rates at 10.40 percent and 10.65 percent. Notably, the nine-month and one-year tenors have higher offer rates, with bids at 10.41 percent and 10.43 percent, and offers at 10.91 percent and 10.93 percent, respectively. These KIBOR rates are crucial for financial institutions in determining lending and borrowing costs in the interbank market.
