Kidnapped boy rescued in Kuchlak

QUETTA: Kuchlak and Airport Police safely rescued the boy kidnapped for ransom in a joint operation conducted in Kuchlak area of Balochistan province on Sunday.

Two alleged kidnappers were also arrested besides taking over one Alto Mehran vehicle into custody during the operation.

According to police, a child namely Shabbir Ahmed son of Gulab Shah, resident of Almas Chowk, who had been kidnapped from Airport road in the precincts of Police Station Airport, Quetta for ransom, was recovered by the staff of Kuchlak and Airport police in a joint operation conducted in Kuchlak area of the province under the supervision of Station House Officer, Police Station, Kuchlak, Niaz Hussain and Station House Officer, Police Station, Airport, Quetta, Naimatullah Khilji.

Two alleged kidnappers Izhar Ahmed son of Abdul Zahir, resident of Killi Gul Muhammad, Quetta and Sohail Shah son of Rehmatullah, resident of Killi Gul Muhammad were also apprehended during the operation. One Alto Mehran vehicle was also recovered from the possession of alleged kidnappers. The alleged kidnappers were shifted to Police Station Airport, Quetta and handed over to the Investigation Staff of Police Station, Airport, Quetta for further investigation.
