A new era in Pakistani medical education began Wednesday with the inauguration of the King Hamad Institute of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences (KHINAMS). Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza led the opening ceremony.
General Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the Bahrain National Guard, attended as the guest of honor, alongside high-ranking officials from both nations. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported the event.
General Mirza expressed gratitude to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness for their backing, emphasizing the robust relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain. The CJCSC described the institute’s launch as a significant step for medical training in the country.
He expressed optimism for KHINAMS, predicting it will graduate highly skilled healthcare workers and elevate the standards of nursing and allied medical fields.
