QUETTA: Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langove, while expressing concern over firing from Afghanistan’s territory, has condemned attack on Pakistani citizens, according to a statement issued here on Thursday. Seeking report of the incident from Deputy Commissioner, Chaman, he issued directives that healthcare facilities be provided to the injured of the incident.
He said that emergency had been imposed in all the government run hospitals of the district, adding that occurrence of such acts was an enmity with peace. He said, “Pak-Army knows defence of its border”, adding that peace should not be considered as our weakness.
Separately, Secretary Health Department, Saleh Muhammad Nasar imposed an emergency in all the hospitals of Quetta in compliance with the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. According to Health Department’s authorities, health team, comprising Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Anesthesia Specialists, healthcare workers and medicines had been dispatched to Chaman.
