Langove visits Dharna Committee in Khost

KHOST: Protest sit-in staged in Khost area of district Harnai against Khosa incident was called off after successful parleys held between representatives of protesters and Advisor to Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Ziaullah Langove, according to a statement issued here on Tuesday.

Protest sit-in staged by “Dharna Committee” for the last 52 days against the Khost incident was called off after successful negotiations held between Mir Ziaullah Langove, Adviser to Chief Minister for Home, Tribal Affairs and PDMA. During negotiations, modalities for payment of compensation to the victim’s family members and injured persons were finalized.

Speaking on the occasion, Mir Ziaullah Langove said that the purpose of visiting and holding negotiations with the “Dharna Committee” was to make it clear that government fully felt the pain of people, adding that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had desired to address the issue through negotiations and in a peaceful environment.
