Madina Colony Police arrested two individuals and seized a large quantity of foreign-made cigarettes and tobacco products during a targeted operation on Hub River Road.
The successful operation was carried out this morning by personnel from the Madina Colony Police Station, who acted on a tip-off.
During a search of the motor vehicle in use, the illegal stash was recovered, which included 300 packets of foreign cigarettes and over 3,000 tobacco pouches.
Both suspects, identified as Hatim Ali and Dildar, were taken into custody on the spot. After initial legal proceedings, both were handed over to Customs authorities for further investigation and subsequent action.
