A groundbreaking study from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur has identified innovation as a crucial factor for the success of pharmaceutical companies in Sindh. The findings, presented during the PhD open defense seminar of researcher Saleem Raza Bhatti, show that product, process, and organizational innovation play a key role in enhancing performance.

The seminar, chaired today by Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Waheed Bakhsh Jatoi, highlighted the multifaceted impacts of innovation. Supervised by Professor Dr. Minhoon Khan Laghari and co-supervised by Professor Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, the research gathered data from 532 participants across 187 pharmaceutical companies.

The research emphasized that innovation capability and dynamic capabilities act as catalysts in amplifying the positive effects of innovation on a company. Senior academics and industry experts praised the research, acknowledging its potential to inform government healthcare policy.

The seminar was hailed as a major success, with academics like Professor Dr. Javed Ahmed Chandio and Professor Dr. Saqib Wahab Mahar stressing the timeliness and importance of the research. Director of the Institute of Business Administration, Professor Dr. Masihullah Jatoi, also expressed his approval of the study and its presentation.

Moderated by Dr. Munir Ahmed Qazi, the event saw active participation from students and faculty, including Professor Dr. Iram Rani and Dr. Shaukat Mahar, marking a significant moment for academic and industry collaboration.
