Islamabad, September 09, 2021 (PPI-OT):Led by the President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICC and I), Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, a delegation visits ‘Panahgah’ Centre here in Sector G-9/4, Islamabad. On the occasion, Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar gave a detailed briefing to the dignitaries, about the initiative.
Managing Director PBM said this project encompasses the most vulnerable community of the country including daily wagers, labourers, passengers, and attendants with the patients. He told that at present twenty two (22) such centres are operational throughout the country, whereas, on the directions of Prime Minister of Pakistan, the expansion plan of this project is also being implemented on fast track.
Malik Zaheer Abbas also highlighted the effective policy to uniform the facilities in all the Panahgahs including stringent measures taken to ensure the quality and hygienic meals in the centres. President ICC and I, Sardar Yasir Ilyas, while appreciating the facilities provided to the deserving persons, expressed his willingness to work jointly with PBM. Managing Director PBM along with the delegation also had lunch with the beneficiaries in Panahgah.
