The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority immediately launched a road clearing operation on Sunday evening in the Galiyat area after light snowfall, so that the main Murree-Abbottabad Road remains safe for commuters.
Machinery was immediately deployed to remove snow from the road, after which salt was sprinkled to eliminate slipperiness and prevent frost formation.
This official action was taken after light snowfall at famous tourist spots including Ayubia, Changla Gali, Nathiagali, and Donga Gali.
According to reports, tourists present in the area enjoyed the weather, and the road restoration work was carried out so that they could travel easily.
Meanwhile, tourist traffic on the Pipeline Track also continued without interruption.
