NASEERABAD::Armed men shot dead two persons, including a woman, in the name of honour in Naseerabad area on Friday.
According to police, the incident occurred at Goth Muhammad Jan Umrani within the precincts of Police Station Mangoli where armed men shot dead a woman Waheeda and her alleged paramour Fida Hussain.
The assailants managed to escape after committing the crime. On information, police reached the site and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital where after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to heirs.
Meanwhile, one person was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Munju Shuru area of Naseerabad on Friday. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital and later handed over to heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. Further investigation in the matter was being conducted by the concerned police.
