Martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and injured brave Ghazi are entitled to Gold and Silver Medals

Lahore, June 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): our duty to honor the martyrs and wounded Ghazis who sacrificed their lives to protect the lives and property of the citizens. IG Punjab said that in honor of the brave sons of the nation, a special Martyrs and Ghazi Memorial Wall has been built in the Central Police Office, the names of Martyrs and Ghazis are written in golden words on these walls. Similarly, gold medals are being to all martyrs and silver medals are being given to Ghazis. IG Punjab said that they would soon start the process of awarding bravery medals to the brave policemen who suppress dangerous criminals.

The IG Punjab further said that all the resources are being utilized for the rehabilitation, treatment and provision of modern equipment to the Ghazis, and ensure that these Ghazis recover soon and perform their duties with the same determination and courage. Dr. Usman Anwar said that all the resources are being utilized for the welfare of the martyrs’ children, including the best education and jobs. DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar and AIG Discipline Ahsan Saifullah and other officers were also present on the occasion.
