Meeting in Basic Health Unit, Deliberation on Enhancing Available Facilities

A recent cooperative organization meeting held at the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Miandad Chanjani, Naseerabad, discussed concerns regarding the severe shortage of medicines and the urgent need for male and female medical officers.

The gathering, held today, was attended by a team representing Sindh’s Qambar district, including District Manager Muhammad Ibrahim Narijo, Executive Monitoring Officer Waseem Ahmed Brohi, and Social Organizer Fahad Mehrab. Ghulam Qadir Boro, in charge of the health facility, and his team were also present, along with several organization members such as Ustad Inamullah Chanjani, Ameer Nisar Chanjani, and Saleh Sharif.

During the session, a review of the hospital’s performance over the past month was presented. Additionally, participants were enlightened about significant ongoing repair work at the facility.

Members were given the opportunity to express their views, leading to a comprehensive discussion on the shortage of medicines and the increasing demand for qualified medical professionals. In response, District Manager Muhammad Ibrahim Narijo assured that a future recruitment process would be initiated, promising that health facilities across the district would be staffed with doctors according to local needs.

The primary objectives of the meeting included improving local health services, promoting public participation, and collaboratively resolving existing challenges through collective consultation.
