Meezan Bank has been recognized as the ‘Best Company in the Financial Category’ for the fourth straight year at the 40th Corporate Excellence Awards, an event organized by the Management Association of Pakistan (MAP).

According to the bank information today, the award was presented during a ceremony at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi, which gathered senior government officials, regulators, and prominent figures from the corporate sector.

Syed Tariq Hassan, the Chief Risk Officer and Group Head of Risk Management for the financial institution, accepted the accolade on behalf of the bank. The award was presented by Chief Guest Saeed Ghani Khaskheli, Minister of Labour, Human Resources, and Social Protection, in the presence of MAP President Senator Sarmad Ali and other guests.

The distinction highlights the institution”s position in Islamic banking and its contribution to the growth and stability of Pakistan’s financial sector.

Meezan Bank is a major Islamic bank in Pakistan, noted for its branch network and deposit size. The institution operates over 1,050 branches in more than 350 cities, constituting the largest Islamic banking network in the country.

The bank has received previous recognitions from various local and international bodies, including being named ‘Best Bank – 2025’ by the Pakistan Banking Awards.
