Islamabad, September 15, 2020 (PPI-OT): Honourable Chief Election Commissioner in his message on International Day of Democracy has said that Democracy cohorts people in authority and provides an atmosphere for the protection of human rights. Democratic societies respect human rights and are more peaceful, prosperous, and secure.
The Honourable CEC has further said that the Election Commission of Pakistan is committed to promoting democratic culture in the country by ensuring free and fair elections in the country on all the three tiers; on the international day of democracy, we reaffirm the right of every citizen to take part in the processes of democratic self-governance.
