Militant organizations experienced their most significant losses in a decade during the month of October, according to a new report released by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies.
According to an official report today, the study attributes this major setback for extremist groups to effective counterterrorism operations carried out by security forces in different areas, which have successfully broken the militants” operational capacity.
The findings also pointed to a preceding downward trend in hostilities, highlighting a fifty-two percent decrease in the number of terror-related attacks in September as compared to the figures from August.
This data indicates that sustained pressure from security initiatives is severely degrading the infrastructure of terrorist networks.
