Zardari to Urge Global Community for Social and Environmental Transformation Funding

President Asif Ali Zardari is set to make a significant appeal for international financial resources to support social and environmental transformation, an SDG stimulus, and other global initiatives during his keynote address at the World Social Development Conference.

According to an official report today, the Pakistani head of state is in Qatar on an official visit to participate in the global forum, where he will outline the nation”s strategies and programs aimed at fostering social development and achieving inclusive economic growth.

Discussions will also cover Pakistan”s specific contributions, including proposals for the launch of the Doha Alliance and the Social Protection and Jobs Compact, aligning national projects with international development commitments.

Beyond the conference proceedings, the President”s schedule includes a series of high-level meetings with various world and regional leaders, as well as with representatives from prominent international organizations.

President Zardari arrived in the Qatari capital for the conference, where he and his accompanying delegation were formally welcomed at Hamad International Airport by senior Qatari officials and Pakistan”s Ambassador to Doha.
