‘Million Signatures Campaign’ – petition before United Nations human rights commission on 10th December, 2019

Lahore, November 26, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Punjab has been pleased to constitute “Special Committee on Kashmir” with TORs for solidarity with the Kashmiri people and to monitor the worsening situation of Human Rights violations in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on daily basis.

The Chief Minister, Punjab and Members of Special Kashmir Committee have already initiated the million signature campaign by signing the petition on 27th October, 2019 which was observed as ‘Black Day’ nationwide; and the same is to be followed at Divisional/ District Level.

A meeting of the Special Committee on Kashmir was held on 21-11-2019 wherein it was decided that:

“The Secretary Higher Education Department to sensitize the head of Educational Institutions to seek 100% signing of the petition by teachers and students on Kashmir Committee website www.kashmircommittee.punjab.gov.pk before 10th December , 2019.”The same shall be presented on “10th December, 2019 – Human Rights Day” before the United Nation Human Rights Commission”.
