Islamabad, January 21, 2020 (PPI-OT): The Ministry of Human Rights, National Child Protection Center (NCPC), has constituted and notified 12 Child Protection Committees at ICT level comprising of local teachers, doctors, religious and local political leaders, psychologists, house wives, philanthropists, businessmen, youth representatives and social workers, etc.
These committees will ensure people’s participation in resolving Child Protection Issues by joining hands with Government authorities. In order to sensitize these Committees on the issue, Ministry of Human Rights conducted an orientation session to mobilize their support for undertaking awareness and prevention of child abuse.
