Mirwaiz condemns slapping of PSA on Yasin Malik

Srinagar, March 07, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Thursday condemned the slapping of draconian Public Safety Act on Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik and shifting him to Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq taking to Twitter said, “I strongly condemn the slapping of draconian PSA on Muhammad Yasin Malik and shifting to Kotbhalwal Jail in Jammu by the authorities.

“These illegal and undemocratic tactics will not stop people and leadership from demanding peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with people’s aspirations,” Mirwaiz wrote on his Twitter handle. Malik, who was arrested on February 22, was booked under PSA and shifted to Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu earlier today.
