Mirwaiz, Malik visit injured students at Srinagar hospital

Srinagar, February 14, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Hurriyat forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, today, visited SMHS hospital in Srinagar to enquire about the condition of students injured in a grenade blast in Kakapora area of Pulwama district.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq taking to the social networking site, Twitter, said he was pained to see the injured students in hospital. “I visited the injured school children from Kakpora, Pulwama at SMHS and was pained to see them in hospital.” He prayed for early recovery the students.

At least 28 students were injured yesterday in a mysterious explosion inside a tuition centre in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik also visited the injured students in the hospital. He interacted with the students and prayed for their early recovery.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader, Mukhtar Ahmed Waza along with a delegation also visited the injured students in the Srinagar hospital. While speaking on occasion, Waza said such incidents have occurred in the past in various places across the Kashmir killing and seriously injuring the children. He demanded a high-level probe into the incident.

He also expressed concern over the killing of a 15-year-old boy, Suhail Ahmad Wani, in a mysterious blast at Drugmulla, Kupwara. Islami Tanzeem Azadi Jammu and Kashmir in a statement also denounced the killing and injuries to students in mysterious blasts.
