Modi regime misuses Article 311 of Indian constitution to terminate 24 more Kashmiri employeesSrinagar

November 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, in continuation of the ongoing termination drive by the Modi-led fascist Indian government, over two dozen local government employees have been falsely accused of having links with pro-freedom groups and organizations. These employees face termination after the recommendations put forth by the Delhi-led administration, headed by Lieutenant Governor in IIOJK, under Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution.

Although, the employees have outright rejected the allegations, yet Indian officials are adamant on proceeding cases against them as per Article 311(2)(c) of the Indian Constitution of India. The said provision enumerates that a government employee can be dismissed when the President or Governor, as the case may be, is satisfied that it is in the interest of the security of the state. In fact, in such detention, it is not expedient to hold a departmental enquiry.

Ironically, the employees were placed in the termination list without a thorough check and investigation. Experts have commented that the Modi is misusing the aforesaid Article to terminate Kashmiri employees from their services and replace them with Indian nationals associated with Hindu extremist organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party to advance the BJP government’s nefarious agenda of demographic change in the occupied territory.
