Islamabad, November 13, 2021 (PPI-OT):Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government’s another nefarious plan to defame Pakistan and Khalistan Movement stands exposed as Canadian broadcaster Terry Milewski has lost the first round of a major defamation case over allegations of Pakistan’s links with Khalistan Referendum.
A report released by Kashmir Media Service, today, said Terry Milewski had published a controversial report in September 2020 titled, “Khalistan: A Project of Pakistan” at the behest of Modi government. He had alleged that Sikhs for Justice serves Pakistan and speaks for Pakistan.
The KMS report said Milewski’s claim that Khalistan Referendum campaign was a project run by Pakistan fell flat as he admitted before a court in Canada of having no proofs that Pakistan was supporting pro-Khalistan Sikh group.
It said Sikhs for Justice is a US-based organization seeking a global referendum on the creation of an independent Sikh state in India with the name Khalistan. “Khalistan Movement in itself is a big question mark on the so-called secular face of India. Sikhs for Justice is the main force behind the Khalistan Referendum campaign,” it said.
The report pointed out that New Delhi is irked by the pro-Khalistan activities of Sikhs for Justice and even India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made formal requests to Canada to ban this popular organization.
