KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf PTI Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that Murad Ali Shah on behest of Bilawal Zardari wants to get him assassinated and for this purpose a cobra snake was put in his jail cell.
According to statement, Haleem Adil Sheikh here Friday was presented before ATC Clifton and the court ordered to shift him to the central jail on judicial custody. The court ordered to present him before the court again on Feb 25.
Later, Haleem Adil Sheikh was presented before Malir court. Talking to media, he said a cobra snake was put in jail cell to get him killed. He said Bilawal had tried to kill him through Murad Ali Shah. He said DSP Aftab Alam is witness who himself saw the snake in his jail room. DSP Aftab on the occasion confirmed it.
Haleem Adil said the police later killed the snake and made its video, which is sent to AIG Ghulam Nabi. He said in this city the chief justice himself recovered wine from the room of Sharjeel Memon and the Sindh government converted this wine into honey. However, now these people would say it was not a snake but a rope.
He said we are not afraid of these dirty tactics. He said last day Sumair Sheikh was arrested under same political vendeta. He said Sumair is the son of former advocate general Mir Muhammad Sheikh, who had told Benazir Bhutto that Abdullah Shah had got killed Murtaza Bhutto. He said our workers are united and no member of PTI would vote to thieves in Senate election.
However, Aleem Adil Sheikh, Naeem Adil Sheikh and Jansher Junejo talking to media outside Malir court condemned adding sections of anti-terrorism act to the case of Haleem Adil and said that the Sindh police is being politicized.
