NAB handling cases of corruption, money laundering as independent institution: Foreign Minister

Islamabad, October 06, 2020 (PPI-OT): Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government did not file any case against the leaders of Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-N. Talking to a private television channel, he said all the corruption and money laundering cases were filed against the PPP and PML-N, leaders during the period of last regimes.

The National Accountability Bureau is handling the cases of corruption and money laundering and that the institution is working independently in the country. Commenting on Nawaz Sharif’s health, he said it is the moral duty of the Ex-Prime Minister to inform the courts about the heal. He said that PML-N leader was granted permission to visit abroad on the basis of medical reports.
