NAB law amended to improve system: Attaullah Tarar

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Attaullah Tarar has rejected the impression that amendments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law were made to benefit PML-N or other leaders of the coalition parties.

Talking to media here in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said we have faced NAB and all the leaders of PML-N, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, as well as PPP leader Faryal Talpur were granted bails on merit. The Special Assistant said amendments in the NAB law were made to improve the system. Meanwhile, Minister for Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain has urged teachers to continue serving with devotion.

Addressing the Academics Excellence Award ceremony here in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said performance and development of every department is linked with the education, therefore, teachers’ role is of great significance in the development of the country. The Minister said teachers should be honored for their great service of character building. He said considering the importance of human capital, the governments should invest in schools infrastructure and improving education standards.
