Islamabad, March 12, 2019 (PPI-OT): NAB received a complaint on November 25, 2018 received from Al- Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia against Karwan–e– Jamshed Tours and Travels, a Pakistani Hajj Group Organizer, for not paying the balance amount of Saudi Riyal 127,425/- to Al- Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia during Hajj session 2018.
On the directions of worthy Chairman NAB, Honorable Justice Mr. Javed Iqbal, NAB, NAB called Mr. Musarrat Rasheed Jamshed, the owner of the company the Karwan–e–Jamshed Tours and Travels on January 23, 2019. The matter was brought in the notice of the owner and asked him to settle all the outstanding dues of Al Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah.
Mr. Musarrat Rasheed Jamshed, the owner of the company the Karwan–e–Jamshed Tours and Travels agreed and on February 26, 2019 he appeared in NAB and provided payment receipt and clearance certificate to NAB which was issued by Al Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia. NAB contacted Hotel Management of Al Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Hotel Management through email confirmed the receipt and payment of outstanding dues and genuineness of the clearance certificate submitted by Mr. Musarrat Rasheed Jamshed of Karwan–e–Jamshed Tours and Travels, Pakistan.
In response, Mr. Rafeeq Al – Hakimi, Executive Secretary, Al Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah vide email clarified that all the outstanding balance against the M/S Karwan – e – Jamshed Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd. has been settled (Payment Slip and Clearance Certificate attached with the email). Mr. Rafeeq Al–Hakimi, Executive Secretary of Al Safwah Royal Orchid Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia thanked Honorable Justice Mr. Javed Iqbal, Chairman NAB and his team members for timely cooperation and settling the outstanding payment of the hotel.
