A rickshaw driver was shot dead in the Uzbek Market area of Hazar Ganji, Quetta, on Tuesday. The assailants managed to escape after committing the crime.
According to the police, the incident occurred at Uzbek Market on Hazar Ganji Road, where unknown assailants shot and killed the rickshaw driver before fleeing the scene. The police arrived at the site and shifted the body to Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta. The deceased was identified as Ali Ahmed Rais, a resident of Quetta. Following the incident, the police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects. Further investigation is underway.
