(National): Shehla takes notice of girls’ missing

Karachi:Sindh Minister for Women Development Syeda Shehla Raza took notice of the alleged disappearance of 14-year-old Samreen, daughter of Muhammad Ashraf, a resident of Landhi, and met the victim’s father in her office.

On the occasion, Syeda telephoned DIGP East and demanded a detailed report of the case. It should be noted that Muhammad Ashraf, the father of the missing girl has been protesting at the Karachi Press Club for the past several days.

The provincial minister assured him of all possible cooperation and assistance in the recovery of his daughter and directed the secretary women development department to provide free legal aid to the affected family by the department.

The victim’s father told the provincial minister that his job would also be terminated due to the protest. Shehla assured that all possible help would be provided in obtaining employment.
