(National): Three hurt in Quetta bomb blast

Quetta: Three persons sustained injuries after IED planted in a motorcycle went off near Mosque on Sariab Road area of provincial capital on Friday.

According to detail, blast took place in Walijeet area of Sariab Road. Resultantly, motorcycles parked nearby caught fire. After the incident, police and rescue teams reached the site and cordoned off the area.

Police authorities said that initial evidence shows that an explosive device had been planted in a motorcycle due to which three persons sustained minor injuries who were rushed to Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta.

Among the injured included Zubair Ahmed S/O Haji Shairzada, Maqbool Ahmed S/O Muhammad Usman and Surat Khan S/O Gul Muhammad. Four motorcycles were set ablaze in the blast.
