(National): Trade terminal on Pak-Afghan border inaugurated

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan said that we will have to accept that we all are responsible for the backwardness of the province. Owing to flawed development policies of the past and deficiency of effective planning, Balochistan could not cross the ladder of progress. If resources were properly utilized, the condition of the province would have been different.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a function held in connection with inaugurating the “Trade Terminal” at Pak-Afghan border Badini on Wednesday. Commander Southern Command Lt: General Muhammad Waseem, Provincial Ministers Mir Ziaullah Langove, Mitha Khan Kakar, MPA Molvi Noorullah, Inspector General Frontier Corps Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah and others were also present on the occasion.

Interest of the people will have to be taken into consideration while making decisions and such decisions were to be made so as to rectify the past mistakes, said Jam Kamal Khan, adding that the incumbent provincial government was devising a comprehensive policy for promotion of economic activities in the province. Several development projects had been reflected in the PSDP for the current fiscal year, the completion of which would provide job opportunities to people and the people would observe positive change.
