Neither CM or any other stakeholder invited to PM meeting: Nasir

KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Local Government, Housing , Town Planning and Public Health Engineering, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, said on Tuesday that no official information was conveyed to Chief Minister Sindh with regard to the visit of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Karachi.

The provincial minister in a statement added that the Sindh Chief Minister was awaiting official communication in that regard, but no such information was conveyed. Shah said that it was learnt that the prime minister had convened a meeting regarding transformation, but neither CM Sindh nor any other stakeholder was invited to the meeting.

He said that the seriousness of the prime minister and the federal government could be gauged from the fact that they had only a few hours for Karachi. He asserted that no matter whether provincial government was invited or not, but the prime minister must implement the announced packages.
