According to information on Friday, the Irfan Siddiqui Center for Advancement of Islamic Finance was formally opened to serve as a dedicated platform for education, research, and professional development within the Shariah-compliant banking industry.

The Center was established to commemorate Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, the Founder, President and CEO of Meezan Bank, who is widely regarded as a leading architect of modern Islamic banking in Pakistan. It recognizes his visionary leadership and exemplary service in evolving the sector from a niche concept to a widely accepted financial system.

The dedication ceremony was led by Dr. Syed Saif ur Rehman PAS, TI, the Director General of NIPA, while Mr. Siddiqui himself formally inaugurated the new facility.
