A local resident, Ali Narejo, has alleged that he is being wrongfully implicated in a murder case by the same individuals he holds responsible for his father’s murder in 2014, and he insisted that he was at another location at the time of the crime.
Mir Ali Narejo, a resident of Nareja village in Makli, made this allegation while speaking to journalists at the National Press Club Thatta on Wednesday. He claimed that he has been unjustifiably named in the investigation of the murder of Ghulam Ali alias Abbas Narejo, which occurred on Eid day in Kotri.
Narejo stated that this action is linked to an old enmity that resulted in the murder of his father, Nizamuddin Narejo, in 2014. He believes he is now being targeted under this long-standing dispute.
In support of his claim of innocence, Narejo insisted that on the day of the murder, he was present in Makli and had no connection to the incident, also stating that he had offered his Eid prayers in the same city.
He concluded his statement by demanding a transparent investigation into the matter and appealed for justice to be provided, so he could clear his name from the murder charges.
