The newly elected officials of the Primary Teachers Association Taluka Naseerabad have pledged a concerted effort to address critical shortcomings in government schools, such as inadequate facilities and persistent teacher shortages, with the aim of fostering an improved educational environment for students.
This pledge was made after an oath-taking ceremony held today at Urdu Primary School, where Chairman Election Commission Taluka Naseerabad Muhammad Zaman Jhathial administered the oath.
The new body includes President Shaista Wahocho, Senior Vice President Abdul Waheed Sahar, General Secretary Barkat Ali Soho, Joint Secretary Saeed Ahmed Kori, Finance Secretary Sikandar Ali Lakho, and Office Secretary Inamullah Chanjani.
In their inaugural address, the newly appointed representatives emphasized that giving due respect to teachers, improving educational institutions, and ensuring the provision of quality instruction would be their foremost objectives.
They further added that teachers are the fundamental builders of the nation, and resolving their issues is intrinsically linked to broader educational reforms. Consequently, serious measures will be taken to protect teachers’ rights and elevate academic standards.
During the proceedings, a working committee and an action committee were also formally elected. Prominent members include Altaf Hussain Wahocho, Mazmul Hussain Jhathial, Manzar Ali Sangro, Waseem Raja Wahocho, and Makhmoor Riaz Chanjani.
The ceremony concluded with a commitment to persistent joint efforts for the promotion of education and the welfare of the teaching community.
