Approximately 350 candidates for the post of police constable in Sukkur district have received provisional appointment letters, while their final induction will be contingent upon the successful completion of a comprehensive verification process.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sukkur, Azhar Khan, on Tuesday distributed offer orders among 349 individuals who successfully passed the Sukkur STS test. This group of successful candidates includes 282 men and 53 women from the general pool.
Additionally, 14 candidates were given offer letters under the minority quota to serve in the Sukkur District Police, which includes 12 men and two women.
The issued documents are explicitly conditional upon complete documentary and background checks. The final appointment of the candidates will be confirmed only after the completion of this scrutiny, following which they will have to attend a mandatory training program.
During the ceremony, SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan congratulated the prospective recruits and provided them with important instructions regarding their future responsibilities.
He said that the police force exists to protect the lives and property of the public and to ensure the supremacy of the law. SSP Khan emphasized that every officer must perform their duty with honesty, diligence, and integrity.
