Islamabad, August 08, 2019 (PPI-OT): On the invitation of Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar, Chief Whip rolling party, a briefing was arranged in Committee Room No.2, Parliament House, Islamabad. Dr. Sania Nishter, Chairperson BISP/EHSAS programme gave briefing to the members of National Assembly of Pakistan. Mr. Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri, Hon. Deputy Speaker also graced the occasion by his conspicuous presence. A large number of MNAs belonging to various political parties attended the briefing.
Dr. Sania Nishter briefed the MNAs about the targets, achievements and goals of AHSAS programme which has been launched on the direction of Hon. Prime Minister of Pakistan. This programme is meant to alleviate the poverty, suffering of the down trodden people belonging to less developed districts and regions of Pakistan. The Hon. Members keenly participated by raising a number of questions. The Chairperson assured that the recommendations and suggestions of parliamentarians will be duly incorporated in this programme. She further said that a state of the art and digital survey is being conducted in the country to pin point deserving people specially the women and youth. So that they are provided much needed financial assistance and technical education so that their suffering and miseries are brought to an end.
Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar thanked the members for their participation and keen interest in the briefing. He appreciated the efforts and endeavours of Dr. Sania Nishter. He assured the parliamentarians that such further briefings will also be arranged in future.
