OIC chief meets Saudi foreign minister in Riyadh

Riyadh Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen met with Saudi Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, at the Ministry’s headquarter in Riyadh on Sunday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest and the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, as well as Saudi Arabia’s influential and pioneering role in the Islamic world.

Al-Othaimeen thanked the continued support to the OIC by the Kingdom, as the host country. He also expressed appreciation of the Saudi leadership, chiefly Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the kind care given to the Organization, as the collective voice of the Muslim world.
