The driver of a speeding HiAce vehicle ran over a female pedestrian near 25 Head and fled. Cantonment police arrested the suspected driver, Amanat alias Mazhar, on Wednesday within 48 hours of the incident. The accused was traced and arrested using modern technology, while the vehicle involved in the accident was also seized.
