On APCA call, rally staged in Shikarpur against price hike

SHIKARPUR: On the call of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) Sindh, the APCA Shikarpur chapter took out a rally here on Monday in protest against price hike and for acceptance of its charter of demands including increase in salaries of employees.

The rally was led by APCA District Shikarpur President Abdul Wahab Kaghzi in which hundreds of government employees from more than 20 government departments took part. They demanded of Sindh government that 100 percent raise in the salary should be made due to growing record price hike and increase in petroleum rates.

The participants marching through various city roads including Lakhi-Gate Clock Tower Chowk and Jumani Hall Chowk. The angry protesters also raised slogans against the government for causing alarming price hike. The protesters included Nazir Ahmed Shah, Agha Babar Khan, Mujahid Hussain Langah, Muhammad Aslam Sheedi, Shafique Ahmed Shaikh, Syed Rasheed Shah, Shahid Ali Memon, Shoaib Pathan, Shoukat Balouch, and Umair Shujrah.
