KACCHI: One person was shot dead and four others, including a woman and a child, were injured by unidentified armed men on National Highway near Mithri area on Wednesday.
According to levies force, unidentified armed men opened fire on a Suzuki van near Pir Ezzat Shah Bukhari, Mithri area of district Kacchi, resultantly, one person died and four others, including a woman and a child, sustained injuries.
The deceased, identified as Muhammad Nawaz son of Muhammad Hussain Abro, resident of Bhag and injured Sana Bibi daughter of Shah Nawaz Abro, Naseema Bibi wife of Shah Nawaz Abro, driver Shahban son of Babul Jamali and Jalal son of Hazoor Bakhsh, were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital, Sibbi where after providing initial treatment, two critically injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital, Sibi for further treatment. An old enmity was reported to be the motive behind the incident. Further investigation was underway by levies force.
