Islamabad, October 22, 2020 (PPI-OT):Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shibli Faraz has said that the leadership of opposition parties is responsible for ruining the institutions with nepotism and corruption. Talking to private news channel, he said the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and PML-N appointed their blue-eyed persons in different institutions.
Shibli Faraz regretted that culture of nepotism and corruption has brought the institutions down. Criticising the PPP leadership, he said the PPP leaders could not manage the flood and Coronavirus situation in Sindh province. Commenting on issue of Capt (Retd) Safdar Awan’s arrest, he said a committee has been constituted to look into the matter.
He said that action should be taken against the responsible elements for implicating the incident saying that Sindh government wants to hide the real facts. Replying to a question, Shibli Faraz said present government has taken a number of initiatives for uplift of economy and appointed qualified persons in Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan and State Bank of Pakistan.
