ISLAMABAD: The disbursement of Flood Relief Cash Assistance among flood affected families under Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) continues across the country.
According to official sources, a total of over 62.167 billion rupees have been disbursed so far, among more than 2.486 million flood affected families.
Under the Cash Assistance programme, twenty-five thousand rupees are being provided to each flood affected family in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan. A control room has been established at BISP headquarters to ensure smooth and transparent payments to the flood affectees.
