This renewed commitment was expressed during the third virtual session of the Xinjiang-Pakistan Working Group on Economic Cooperation, which convened today.

The forum provided a significant platform for representatives from both nations to review ongoing collaboration and explore new avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships.

The agenda broadly encompassed discussions on improving border commerce and expanding joint efforts in the fields of science and technology, health, and education.

Officials engaged in a constructive and meaningful dialogue aimed at strengthening bilateral economic bonds and promoting sustainable regional development.

Delegates from Pakistan and the Xinjiang region presented detailed proposals focused on improving the livelihoods of local communities and further consolidating existing areas of cooperation.

The high-level dialogue was co-chaired by Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division, Humair Karim, and the Vice Chairman of China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, Keiser Keyum.
