Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, on the occasion of Pakistan Day, has urged the nation to renew their commitment to steer the country towards the path of development and stability, stating that it is the “collective responsibility” of all citizens.
In his message today on the occasion of the national day, the mayor termed the Pakistan Resolution as the foundation stone of the country’s independence and urged the public to remember its fundamental objectives.
He said that March 23 is an important day to renew the pledge to follow the guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam, highlighting the timeless lessons of unity, faith, and organization.
Barrister Wahab drew a direct link between the city’s development and the country’s overall progress, stating, “The development of Karachi is in fact the development of Pakistan.”
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment, the mayor declared that serving the citizens is his primary mission and expressed confidence that through joint efforts, Pakistan can be made a strong and prosperous country.
The mayor also offered special prayers for the country’s security, development, and continued prosperity.
