Pakistan envoy wants promotion of Pak-Iran trade

QUETTA: Sheheryar Khan, Council General of Pakistan in Mashad, Iran, has said that for the purpose of achieving the target set for promoting business between Pakistan and Iran, it was essential to remove all the obstacles in the way of business and trade between both the neighbouring countries.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a virtual meeting with the office bearers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quetta, Balochistan, including Haji Abdullah Achakzai, President, Senior Vice President, Agha Gul Khilji, Juma Khan Badizai and Haji Fateh Khan.

Sheheryar Khan said problems being faced by Pakistani business community in Mashad, Iran would be brought into the notice of Iranian authorities, adding, “In this regard priority would be given to the suggestions put forward by the office bearers and workers of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Quetta, Balochistan”. Appreciating the services of Chamber and Commerce and Industry, Quetta, Balochistan rendered for promotion of trade between both the neighbouring countries the good, he said that the services of the office bearers and members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Quetta, Balochistan could not be ignored.

He said that for the achieving the target set for promoting business between Pakistan and Iran, it was essential to remove all the obstacles in the way of business and trade between both the neighbouring countries. Bringing the problems being faced Pakistani business community into the notice of Sheheryar Khan, Council General of Pakistan in Mashad, Iran, Haji Abdullah Achakzai, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Quetta, Balochistan said that problems being faced by Pakistani community in Mashad, Iran, including non-availability of Shelter and freezing of bank accounts in Iranian banks, needed to be addressed immediately.
