QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said that Pakistan had rendered great sacrifices to eliminate terrorism and was still playing a pivotal role for the stability and peace of the region.
These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation led Erwin Policer, head of UNHCR in Balochistan who called on him at Governor House here on Monday. Overall security situation of the region, issues relating to Afghan refugees dwelling in Pakistan, and provision of educational and health facilities to local populace came under discussion during the meeting.
The governor Balochistan appreciated the role of UNHCH regarding provision of health and education facilities to the Afghan refugees. Justice (Retd) Amanullah Khan Yasin said that he was sanguine that soon intra Afghan dialogue would yield positive results.
