Pakistan Navy has continued its large-scale relief operation in flood-affected areas of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rescuing and relocating 4,335 stranded individuals to safer places.
Hovercrafts were promptly deployed in Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur and Shikarpur to evacuate residents marooned in floodwaters. These specialized crafts can operate on land, water and marshy terrain, enabling swift rescue efforts.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Navy has set up medical camps in Swat, Buner and Shangla to provide healthcare facilities to flood victims. Relief teams are also delivering food supplies, medicines and essential assistance to affected families.
The ongoing operation is not limited to these areas, as Pakistan Navy’s teams are actively engaged in Kasur, Rajanpur, Dera Ismail Khan, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar and Sujawal, ensuring timely support for displaced populations.
